Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Record In Al Nassr’s 5-1 Win Today

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to breaking the record for most goals in a single Saudi Pro League season.

The Portugal star achieved this milestone with a two-goal performance in a 4-2 victory over Al-Ittihad in their final league match.

Ronaldo opened the scoring just before halftime and added another goal in the second half.

Despite Al-Ittihad pulling back two goals, Al-Nassr secured the win with a late goal from Meshari Al-Nemer.

Reacting, in a post via his Instagram, he wrote:

“I don’t follow the records, the records follow me.”

Ronaldo’s brace mean, he took his goals tally to 35 in the Saudi League this season, surpassing the previous record of 34 goals scored in the 2018–19 season by Abderrazak Hamdallah.
