SZA issued a warning to exit her Melbourne performance following the action of audience members who tossed various objects onto the stage.
The musician conveyed her intention to terminate her show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on the evening of Tuesday after encountering instances where attendees hurled objects onto the stage.
Reports indicated that among the items launched towards the singer of the popular track “Good Days” were mobile phones and footwear.
The 34-year-old artist expressed to the audience her firm stance on the matter while grasping one of the items that had been thrown onto the stage, stating, “I shall exit. Please refrain from projecting any cellular devices, as I am a sentient being. Such behavior is highly irrational.”
Apart from the objects hurled onto the stage, a member of the audience disrupted the event by executing a handstand on an elevated seating platform, resulting in a fall onto another attendee.
Furthermore, it was documented that security personnel intervened to disperse a physical altercation within the space designated for general admission.
The renowned artist behind the hit track “Kill Bill” is presently engaged in her SOS tour.
Following this, she is scheduled to return to the United States during the upcoming week to perform at various locations, including Sacramento, California on Sunday and Louisville, Kentucky on the 25th and 26th of May.
Subsequently, SZA will resume her international tour dates in June, with performances slated in countries such as France, Spain, and Portugal.
