Zanele Mbokazi, popular radio presenter at Ukhozi FM and winner of multiple Crown Gospel Music Awards, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
After falling ill, Zanele was rushed to the hospital for treatment. It was only after thorough examination that doctors discovered the cancer during her hospital stay last week.
Her husband, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, shared that initially, they relied on prayers when Zanele first experienced pain. But when she struggled to complete her gospel show, Eshilo, the decision was made to seek medical help.
Following a surgery to investigate the source of her distress, doctors delivered the heart-wrenching diagnosis of lung cancer to Zanele Mbokzai.
“We thank God for His mighty hand. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for my dear wife, Zanele Mbokazi, since hearing news of her ill health. We thank God that she is recovering well. Thank you for the prayers, love and support from family, friends, church and entire community,” Nkambule said.
The Ukhozi FM management said: “We’re praying for her speedy recovery and God to be with us during this difficult time. We’re praying to God to do miracles because we know He’s capable of doing miracles.”
