Erik ten Hag 'reaches Verbal agreement' to become next Manchester United Manager

Erik ten Hag will not be removed as Manchester United manager.

According to The Athletic, this comes after the club’s end-of-season evaluation.

The former Ajax manager has agreed to stay with the Red Devils after the board decided to stick with him.

According to the article, United will explore extending the 54-year-old’s contract, which is set to expire in the summer of 2025.

Discussions were undertaken with Thomas Tuchel, but the German chose to take a break from football after leaving Bayern Munich.

Mauricio Pochettino, who has been linked with the Old Trafford job on several occasions, is not thought to be under consideration after he left Chelsea.

Brentford’s Thomas Frank and Roberto De Zerbi, who recently left Brighton, are both linked with the role but there is no obvious first-choice candidate.
