On Saturday, Iga Swiatek won her fourth French Open title in five years.
The World Number One defeated surprise finalist Jasmine Paolini in the women’s final.
The first seed from Poland defeated Italian underdog Paolini 6-2 6-1 in one hour and eight minutes.
‘King of Clay’ Rafael Nadal may have played his final French Open this year, but Swiatek once again proved she is Roland Garros royalty.
She is the first woman to win three straight Roland Garros titles since Justine Henin in 2007, and only the third in Open history, following Monica Seles.
