Fashion designer Veekee James opened up about her beginnings in the fashion industry in a heartfelt interview on CNN.
Veekee James shared how she started out making clothes in her mother’s living room before heading to college in Akwa Ibom.
In a touching moment, she talked about moving her mother to a new home in 2020, a major milestone in her career.
Veekee also discussed her design program and expressed gratitude to her friend Tomike for their unwavering support, which has helped propel her success as a designer.
