Cardi B refuted reports that her Atlanta home is facing foreclosure, after rumors spread online claiming she and her husband Offset were in debt and trying to sell the property.
“Cardi B’s secret struggle: She’s allegedly trying to sell one of her homes but is deeply upside down on it,” Icy Scoop News wrote on X/Twitter. “Facing foreclosure, the pressure is mounting as she fights to make the payments. The stakes have never been higher.”
However Cardi B, 31, laughed off the rumour, directly replying to the post.
“LMAOOO You bum btches wish… me and offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7, check the Atlanta market,” she wrote.
“And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”
The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, purchased the mansion in 2019 for $5.8 million.
The house sits on 5.84 acres of land, has 22,000 square feet of space, five bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a games room, wet bar, wine cellar, and indoor shooting range, according to Homes of the Rich.
