“I Don’t Play With My Money” — Cardi B Reacts After $60,000 Credit Card Theft

Cardi B confirms sophomore album set for 2025 release

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has revealed she was the victim of a major credit card theft, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in unauthorised spending.

The incident reportedly came to light after the rapper noticed suspicious transactions on her American Express card, which she said had gone missing from her wallet.

According to reports, the perpetrators spent approximately 40,000 dollars at Saks Fifth Avenue and an additional 20,000 dollars at an Apple Store, bringing the total to around 60,000 dollars.

Cardi B disclosed during an Instagram livestream that surveillance footage from the stores clearly captured the suspects involved. She added that the individuals were also seen attempting to withdraw more money at a bank.

“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money,” she said.

“You all went to Chase trying to get money out… You all are going to jail,” she added, warning the suspects.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns around financial fraud and card theft, even among high profile individuals, as criminals continue to exploit access to stolen payment details for luxury purchases.

As of now, there has been no official update on arrests, but Cardi B’s statements suggest that evidence from surveillance footage could play a key role in identifying those responsible.
