A black Mercedes driven by a suspected drink-driver crashed into Marcus Rashford’s Range Rover, leading to Manchester United teammate Tyrell Malacia needing to undergo hospital checks.
Reports indicate that the England forward was in his vehicle at the time of the collision.
Rashford, along with his passenger and Malacia, were advised to get medical attention.
The incident, which took place in Wilmslow, Cheshire, resulted in the arrest of the 55-year-old Mercedes driver by Police on suspicion of drink-driving.
The driver was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Malacia, a Dutch international aged 24, and his fellow teammate have since been given the all-clear by doctors and have rejoined United’s squad.
