Social media influencer Ruth faced a major setback after losing nearly one million followers on her X account (formerly Twitter) just hours after jabbing superstar singer Wizkid.
Ruth had posted a photo of Sophia Alakija, Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend, mocking the singer for letting go of someone with the “perfect body.”
The situation escalated quickly as Wizkid FC — the dedicated fanbase of the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer — seemingly retaliated by mass-reporting Ruth’s account. A check by Gistreel confirmed that Ruth’s account was suspended for violating X’s policies and rules.
Ruth, known for her controversial takes and frequent jabs at celebrities, now faces the consequences of her provocative posts.
