Kwara State University (KWASU) expels 175 students

175 students at Kwara State University, (KWASU ) Malete, have been expelled for various offenses.

The decision to expel these students was approved based on the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee following sittings held between October 2021 and March 2024.

The expelled students were found guilty of offenses such as examination malpractice, theft, using fake results to secure admission, assault, fraud, membership in unregistered associations, and possession of firearms.

The university management reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining zero tolerance for all forms of indiscipline.

They emphasized their goal of producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also demonstrate good character.
