“A state governor is not good enough” – Man criticizes Seyi Makinde as his daughter graduated from American university

A Nigerian man criticized Governor Seyi Makinde for admitting that his daughter graduated from an American university.

The young man left his remarks in the comments area of a post announcing his graduation.

According to him, as a governor with universities in his state, Makinde should be ashamed.The parent argues that this demonstrates Makinde’s inability to appropriately administer the universities in his state, which is why his daughter had to continue her studies abroad.

In his words:

“As a governor of a state, coming publicly to tell Nigerians his daughter is graduating from a foreign university. So obviously he is announcing to the world that the universities under his care as a state governor is not good enough.”
