On Tuesday, the National Exams Council revealed the results of the 2024 common entrance exams for Unity schools.
This was confirmed by Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Minister of State for Education.
Sununu stated this during a news briefing on the results of the examinations.
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, 71,291 candidates took the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), which was held at 599 centers.
NECO provided data revealing that Lagos State had the most candidates (17,751), followed by the FCT (10,209 candidates) and Anambra State (4,972 candidates).
According to Sununu, a total of 4,360 candidates were absent while 66,931 were present.
The minister noted that one candidate scored the highest score of 203 out of the obtainable score of 210.
He also noted that the admission process will be based on 60% merit as usual
