Deji Adeyanju, a well-known activist lawyer, has alleged that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, is actively trying to dismantle the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adeyanju cautioned that if the PDP does not eject Wike from the party, he would guarantee that the party does not have a presidential contender to compete against President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Wike was the one who engineered and is backing all those who went to court in Edo. Until the hungry PDP leadership grows some balls and expels Wike so he can fully join the APC, I support him to keep destroying the PDP.”
Wike is a chieftain of the PDP but chose to work for Tinubu during the last presidential election.
The former Rivers State governor openly rejected the 2023 PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, while pitching his tent with Tinubu.
