Actress Destiny Etiko responds to rumors of receiving a car from Omotola Ekeinde’s husband
After rumors circulated that she received a luxurious car as a birthday gift from Omotola’s husband, Mathew Ekeinde,
Destiny Etiko has clarified the situation. She denied the reports, emphasizing that the majority of her accomplishments were achieved independently.
Destiny Etiko also questioned the idea that men give women money, asserting that she has not benefited from any such transactions.
Regarding the viral photo showing her with Mathew Ekeinde taken four years ago, Destiny Etiko explained that it was taken during a flight where he was the pilot. She clarified that she has not been in contact with him since then and that he did not have any personal connection to her.
“I don’t need anybody to tell me that God has been faithful to me. There is something that has been happening, and it is really cràzy. I didn’t want to talk about it when I heard some nuisances: people who haven’t been able to feed themselves and are so jealous that they can’t withhold the blessings of God in someone else’s life, and you expect to grow. I didn’t want to talk about this cause I felt it was non-relevant.

I don’t know why some people are bitter. You know most of my birthdays I always buy a car, because I like to change cars every year. Some bitter people are pained that I bought a car that would shake them; that’s why they brought out an old picture of me with Omotola’s husband that I took over four years ago. How did it happen? I was on a flight, and he was the pilot, so some people were snapping pictures with me, and he was like, What’s going on there? They told him I was an actress, and he looked at me closely, and I told him we should take a selfie, and he obliged. Nothing was there. We went down and took a selfie, and that was it. From that day till now, where I wan see the man? Wetin concern me”.
