Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, was stabbed in a car park on Wednesday evening in Mataro, Spain, as reported by La Vanguardia.
The altercation resulted in Nasraoui being stabbed multiple times, leading to him being rushed to Can Ruti hospital in Badalona in serious condition.
Despite the severity of the attack, Nasraoui is now reportedly out of danger while he continues to recover in hospital.
It is worth noting that Nasraoui was present to witness Lamine Yamal win the European Championship title with Spain just last month.
