“There are times I feel like giving up” – Neymar admits he is struggling

BRA 5-1 BOL: Records Neymar has set as he passes Pele to become Brazil’s all time top goal scorer

Neymar Jr., the striker for Al Hilal, has acknowledged that there are moments when he considers throwing in the towel as he works his way back from a significant knee injury.

This injury occurred in October and involved tearing the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee.

Neymar recently provided an update on his recovery progress through Instagram.

He said: “After I suffered this injury, there are days that are difficult, there are days that I want to give up.

“It’s hard to go through all of this.

“But here’s a warrior who won’t stop until I get what I want! God is my strength and my fortress. We will continue fighting every day.”

Despite only appearing in five matches for Al Hilal since signing a two-year contract with the Saudi Pro League team in August 2023, Neymar is committed to regaining his fitness and returning to the field.
