Peter Okoye, the Nigerian vocalist and one half of the renowned musical duo Psquare, has issued his initial statement amidst the ongoing conflict with his sibling, Paul Okoye.
Utilizing his Instagram platform, Peter Okoye, who has chosen to remain inconspicuous for an extended period, uploaded a photograph of himself on stage along with a message directed towards his supporters.
Referring to himself as Mr. P, his individual stage identity, he articulated the enduring nature of diamonds, urging his fans to exercise patience.
Evidently, the musician appears to be preparing to release a new solo musical project or album for his admirers.
“Diamonds, dey say, are forever. Dear Mr P’s fans, pls be patient”.

Not long ago, Cutie Juls, an Instagram influencer, made claims that Paul and their older brother, Jude Okoye, were taken into custody by the regulatory body.
Subsequently, Paul verified the occurrence through his Instagram account, expressing his relief after being exonerated by the authorities.
Emphatically stating that his income was derived from legitimate musical endeavors, he announced his imminent return to music production, promising fresh musical releases.
During a recent media interaction, he candidly discussed his rapport with his twin sibling, narrating the events that led to Peter Okoye orchestrating the arrest of their elder brother, Jude Okoye, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in December 2023.
Following a meticulous probe conducted by the regulatory body, he was absolved of all accusations. Paul further confirmed that it was indeed Peter who instigated the arrest of their senior sibling, Jude Okoye.
