After stepping down as England manager following Euro 2024, Gareth Southgate has secured his first job with UEFA.
The 53-year-old resigned after eight years in charge, culminating in a loss to Spain in the final.
However, Southgate won’t be unemployed for long as he has been appointed as a technical observer for the 2024-25 Champions League.
In this role, he will analyze matches, provide insights to UEFA analysts in Nyon, Switzerland, and submit detailed reports evaluating games, tactics, and player performances.
The revamped Champions League kicks off on September 17.
