Social media activist Verydarkman, also known as Martins Otse Vincent, has stirred up a new wave of controversy with his latest response to Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin’s decision to cease the sale of his spiritual items, including miracle soap and water.
The ongoing feud between Prophet Fufeyin and Verydarkman escalated when the latter accused the clergyman of exploiting his followers by selling them these healing products without NAFDAC approval. In response to the online backlash, Prophet Fufeyin announced that the spiritual items would now be distributed to his church members free of charge, rather than being priced.
A video of Prophet Fufeyin publicly discontinuing the sale of his miracle soap and water in front of his congregation went viral, sparking intense discussions and debates across various online platforms.
However, Verydarkman took to his Instagram page as he insisted that even if the spiritual items are given out for free, they should still require approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
He also stated that prophet Fufeyin should also allow the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPFNCC) to investigate his funds.
In his words, “Even if you’re giving out the spiritual items for free, you must have NAFDAC number. EFCC and NPFNCC must investigate you for selling cash flow ATM card”.
