Council of State passes vote of confidence on Tinubu

President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu was given a vote of confidence by the Council of State members, which includes former Presidents, past Heads of State, and former Chief Justices of the Federation, during their meeting on Tuesday. This was the first meeting over which Tinubu presided since taking office.

The Council members criticized the recent #EndBadGovernance protests, with Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake suggesting that the sponsors had ulterior motives aimed at changing the government.
