President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to preside over the National Council of State meeting at the Presidential Villa.
The ongoing meeting marks Tinubu’s inaugural Council of State gathering as President.
Anticipated attendees at the session encompass all surviving former presidents and previous heads of state.

In addition to the primary presentation by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, topics for discussion today encompass Food Security by the Minister of Agriculture & Food Security, Economic Status by the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Infrastructure Development by the Minister of Works, and a report on Solid Minerals by the Minister overseeing the Ministry.
The Council of State comprises the following individuals: the President, who serves as the Chair, the Vice-President, who acts as the Deputy Chair, all former Presidents of the Federation and former Heads of Government of the Federation, all former Chief Justices of Nigeria, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, all Governors of the states of the Federation, and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.
