Controversial critic, Verydarkman, critiques the outcome of the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant where South African model Chidimma Adetshina emerged victorious.
Chidinma Adetshina faced backlash for her participation in the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant and had to withdraw due to various reasons.
Despite this, she ultimately triumphed over 24 other contestants in the Nigerian pageant, sparking a range of reactions.
In a recent video, Verydarkman shared his thoughts on the results, claiming that Chidinma only won out of pity rather than merit. According to him, her victory undermines the hard work put in by other contestants who had been preparing diligently throughout the year
“Because the girl get small problem for South Africa, una invite am come Nigeria make she be Miss Universe. How about the people that have been preparing for this thing for a long time? You people gave her by pity and not be merit; this is not fair,” he stated.
Verydarkman further emphasized her inability to speak the language of the state she represented despite her Nigerian roots while her only reason for visiting Nigeria was due to her issue in South Africa.
