Mathew Knowles, father of Beyoncé, expressed disappointment over his daughter not receiving any nominations at the 2024 Country Music Awards, despite having the top country song and album of the year.
Knowles accused the awards organizers of racism, alleging that nominations were not based on talent and accomplishments, but instead on race.
“There’s more white people in America and unfortunately they don’t vote based on ability and achievements, it’s still sometimes a white and black thing,” Knowles told TMZ.
Beyoncé’s album ‘Cowboy Carter’ is both the most acclaimed and best-selling new country album of 2024.
