Comedian Basketmouth has addressed the rumors surrounding his supposed engagement to Victoria Eze, also known as Miz Vick. He clarified that the speculation was merely a playful post meant to generate attention, or as he put it, to “chase clout.”
In a video posted on his Instagram, Basketmouth revealed that he was surprised by how many people actually believed the engagement news. He explained that it was all in good fun and not meant to be taken seriously.
He joked, “Dem fall for am…hahahah!”
During the same video, Basketmouth also shared a sneak peek of his upcoming film, “A Ghetto Love Story”, giving viewers a taste of its raw yet heartwarming storyline.
Miz Vick expressed excitement about the project, saying, “We have finally made our very first feature-length film, ‘A Ghetto Love Story’, and I’m really excited because I wrote the film.”
Basketmouth revealed that the story is based on a real-life experience, saying, “This thing happened to me in real life. I experienced it.”
The movie is set to premiere on November 22nd, as indicated in the Instagram post.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Wale Ojo, Daniel Etim Effiong, Mercy Johnson, Efe Irele, Bright Okpocha, Victoria Eze, Beverly Osu, and Senatorcomedian.
Now that the engagement rumors have been cleared up, fans have expressed their frustration at falling for the clout-chasing tactic, but all seems to be in good fun between Basketmouth and Miz Vick.
