American rapper Meek Mill has announced his intention to hire an investigative team to look into why he is being linked to music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy.
Diddy was recently arrested by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution, leading to increased media scrutiny on his associates.
The rapper is willing to spend $100,000 on the investigation to determine his connection to Diddy’s case and identify those behind his involvement in the scandal.
On his X handle, Meek Mill wrote, “I wanna hire an investigative team with 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘Meek’ anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right’.”
Diddy has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty on September 17. However, his bail requests have been rejected twice.
