Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, claims that only Manchester City has been more successful than his team during his tenure in England.
Ten Hag stated this prior to Liverpool’s upcoming visit on Sunday.
Over the past two years, the Dutchman has led the Red Devils to victories in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
In comparison, Liverpool has only secured the Carabao Cup title during the same period.
Ten Hag said: “Listen, behind City we have won the most trophies over the last two years – so we performed better than anyone else.
“Listen to me, listen to me, that’s the reality. Those are the facts.
“This year we want to win trophies – and I am quite confident we will build up to this.”
