Victor Osimhen has requested to don the no.45 jersey at Galatasaray.
The Nigerian forward is anticipated to complete a loan agreement with Napoli by the end of the day.
Nigerian broadcaster Onyebuchi Onokala, aka Buchi Laba, has disclosed that Osimhen has chosen a unique number for his shirt.
Laba wrote on X Wednesday morning: “Excl: Victor Osimhen will be wearing number 45 at Galatasaray
“He personally requested for that jersey number cos that was his good-luck number that he wore back at Belgian club Charleroi.”
Osimhen wore the no.9 shirt at Napoli and at his previous club, Lille.
The 26-year-old also wears the no.9 for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
