In a previous interview, Phyna claimed to have paved the way for Hype women in Nigeria, noting that before her time on the show, she was the only Hype woman in Abuja. She credited her success after Big Brother Naija for inspiring others to pursue careers in hyping, as she started seeing more hype girls after returning from the show.
