Premier League blocks Arsenal from wearing red against Tottenham on Sunday

Arsenal go four points clear of Man City with 2-0 win over Bournemouth

Arsenal has been instructed to wear their away kit in the upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday.

The decision comes from the Premier League and PGMOL, citing that Arsenal’s traditional red home kit clashes with Tottenham’s white kit.

As a result, Mikel Arteta’s team will don their black away kit for the North London Derby, marking a rare occasion where both teams have to change colors.

In the return fixture at the Emirates Stadium, Spurs will also be required to wear their away kit.

Last season saw both teams battle it out, with Tottenham securing a 2-2 draw at the Emirates and Arsenal winning 3-2 in the reverse fixture after taking a three-goal lead in the first half.
