Resourceful Lady Sells 220 Loaves of Bread After Mother’s Baking Mishap with Wrong Event Date

After calling out for aid online, a young Nigerian woman assisted her mother in selling all 220 bread loaves produced on the erroneous church event date.

The woman, known as @lola_mewu, stated in a viral tweet that her mother had inadvertently cooked items a week before the intended event.

Faced with the prospect of wasted effort and goods, Lola pleaded for support, calling on her followers to help her mother sell the surplus bread.Resourceful Lady Sells 220 Loaves of Bread After Mother’s Baking Mishap with Wrong Event Date

Giving an update about the bread sales, she applauded Nigerians for the community support, particularly a Nigerian abroad who paid for bulk to be shared with the needy.

Her mother also took to the platform to express her appreciation for everyone’s support in saving her from the great loss.

“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the outpouring of support and likes on my daughter’s post about the incident that occurred yesterday. We sold out all 220 loaves of bread, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you. May the Lord bless you all,” she wrote.
