Apostle Johnson Suleman from the Omega Fire Ministry shared with his congregation his frustration when his private jet was sent for servicing.
During one of his recorded programmes, Apostle Suleman alleged that the individuals responsible for servicing his jet attempted to pressure him into selling it because they admired it.
He explained how they delayed the servicing for three years, causing the plane’s spare parts to expire.
Suleman mentioned that during his prayers, God told him to forgive them, warning him that he might not make it to heaven if the trumpet were to sound without forgiving them.
Suleman said: “I have never said this anywhere in the world before but let me say it here for the first time. You want to hear it? I have never said it anywhere in the world. Let me say it for the first time.
“I got a jet, and after three months I noticed that they need to service the jet. I sent the jet for servicing. As the people got the jet, they saw that it was very fine, the people that will service it, they didn’t touch it.
“They refused to service it. We called them and called them, but they refused. For one year, they didn’t touch it.
“They made sure that all the parts, you know the aircraft the way it works, every part of the aircraft has a time frame, whether you use it or you don’t use it, if it’s more than one year, you have to change it. They didn’t touch it, they made sure all the parts ran out of time.
“I struggled and bought the parts again and said fix the new parts. They were not picking calls again. For three years they were begging ‘this plane is fine, please sell it to us’. I said: are you people running mad? Okay, don’t fix it again.’
“But you can’t fly it when it’s not in shape, the aviation industry will bill you. Three years I begged, I pleaded. I almost started crying. I said ‘give me’. They said ‘sell it for (sic) us’.
“I now came with a strategy. The strategy I came up with will close down the company. I was praying, the Lord said forgive. Three years! Do you know what that means? And I only used that plane for three years.
“After three years, I was praying one day, the Holy Ghost said ‘if the trumpet sounds now you won’t go to heaven’. I said why. He said it’s because of forgiveness. I said: Father, are you aware of what they did to me?’
“Imagine repairing a thing three times because people are just wicked. The Lord said let it go. When I let it go, one of them called one of my boys and said: ‘Please, we cannot sleep. We are in trouble. We want to fix this thing. Tell your ‘Oga’ to come and carry it and go. Let him come and carry it.’ So that’s how they ran around.
“For three years. You see us standing on the pulpit. We are smiling, we are jumping but you don’t know what we are going through.”
