Azealia Banks is feeling quite confident about her upcoming new album. For example, the rapper has openly stated that what she’s been cooking is hotter than her most famous song, “212.” The femcee, who is always vocal, took to X and Twitter to express her excitement.
“This new song I have been working on is literally the best in my discography. I have not once in My 13-year career felt like I was working on anything close to the intensity and display of skill as 212 until now. This song I say with confidence … shows tenacity, dedication, audacity, dexterity, patience, and results in victory.”
Continuing, she added:
“Like I am over the moon about it. I have finally outdone ‘212.’ From every angle.
‘212’ s a f**king hard song to beat. And I didn’t and ever do go about creating music with the intention to outdo it. But I’d be lying if I wasn’t honest in wondering if and when I would ever top it. And it has finally happened and it feels a bit ordained.”
Concluding, the Hip-Hop polarizer praised her own “genius,” adding:
I’m most excited for the people who have actively followed “Azealia Banks,” and feel the joy pleasure and pain in the things released between here and 212. Because those are the people who REALLY get it and they’re all gonna be able to happily parade around in “I TOLD YOU SO”S and music snobbery. We deserve it.
