Billie Eilish sustained a painful bruise on her leg after a mishap during a recent concert. The incident occurred during her performance of Hit Me Hard and Soft at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where she tripped while descending a set of stairs off the stage.
In addition to her concert schedule, the singer also appeared as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, along with her brother Finneas, where they performed Birds of a Feather and Wildflower.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Billie re-posted a fan video of the moment and wrote, “Billie falling down the stairs at msg (sic).”
Fortunately, Billie Eilish now has time to recover from her bruise before her next show at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on 2 November.
Interestingly, this onstage mishap is not an isolated incident. Just recently, Olivia Rodrigo also took a tumble during her Guts tour concert in Melbourne, Australia, when she unexpectedly fell through an open stage trapdoor, much to the surprise of her fans.
“Oh my God, that was fun! I’m okay!” she reassured the crowd. “Wow. Sometimes, there’s just a hole in the stage. That’s alright! Alright, where was I?”
