“Boniface Is Dangerous” – Leao warns Milan teammates

I’d like to play for Arsenal – AC Milan forward, Leao

Rafael Leao, an AC Milan winger, has cautioned his colleagues about the threat that Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen poses.

Speaking before of their Champions League match against Xabi Alonso’s team, the former LOSC Lille player advised his teammates to keep an eye out for Boniface and the rest of the Leverkusen squad.

“Yeah, I know him, he’s teammates in the Nigerian national team with Chukwueze.

“He was talking about him this week, and he’s very technical and fast, and we know we need to watch out for him. We need to watch out for the entire team, because the centre backs, the full backs; Frimpong and Grimaldo, and the entire team play very well and it’ll be a difficult game.

But of course, Boniface ,we respect his ability, but I think we’re prepared to face him,” the 25-year-old said as revealed by OmaSports TV.

Victor Boniface has been in fine form for Leverkusen this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in five Bundesliga games for the defending champions.

Alonso’s men are currently second in the Bundesliga table, while Milan is third in Serie A, two points behind Antonio Conte’s Napoli.
