Photographer and singer Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, has reflected on herself as she clocks 40 today, the red of October 2024.
The stunning mother of three posted a sweet video of herself on Instagram, gorgeously dressed for her birthday shoot.
Dakolo shared the video on her page and commented on what she learned in her forty years of revolving around the sun.
She discovered that true strength lies in accepting oneself for who she is, with all of her imperfections and desires.
Busola Dakolo also discussed how she gained strength after learning to embrace her vulnerabilities. She expressed thankfulness for the ups and downs, love, and lessons learned thus far.
While urging everyone to pray for her, Busola declared that her fourth level will yield good things for her.
“It’s my birthday.
40 years around the sun, and I’ve learned that true strength lies in accepting who you are; the flaws, dreams, and everything in between.
I’m learning to accept my vulnerabilities, and in doing that, I’ve found my strength. Today, I’m just grateful. Grateful for the ups and downs, the love and the lessons, and for the courage to keep being myself.
Like the song says “voila”, here I am. I’m imperfect, but authentic. I’m brave enough to be seen, and strong enough to keep evolving. Thanks for being part of my journey.
