Comedian Donovan Goliath and his wife, Davina, have received an outpouring of congratulations after welcoming their second child, a beautiful baby girl named Scarlett Hazel Goliath.
The couple announced the heartwarming news on social media with a lovely photo of Scarlett, who was born on October 14th, accompanied by a touching message.
“We love you. Our hearts have expanded. Thank you for making us a family of four,” the couple captioned the joint post.
The announcement comes months after Donovan Goliath and Davina revealed their pregnancy in June, with a playful post of their first daughter proudly holding up a picture of the pregnancy scan, captioned, “I’m gonna be a big sister.”
Prior to Scarlett’s arrival, the Goliaths enjoyed a joyful baby shower with loved ones to celebrate the impending addition to their family. Now, with Scarlett’s birth, they are adjusting to their new role as a family of four.
Donovan Goliath had previously discussed his experience as a father with TshisaLIVE, expressing how fatherhood has had a profound impact on him.
“It’s given me a stronger sense of purpose and something real to work towards. Being in the industry we’re in, you’re constantly out and juggling so many things. I’ve learnt to say no a lot more because it is no longer about me, it’s about us.”
For Donovan, fatherhood is not just about parenting but about prioritising time and family. “It can’t be explained until you have your own child. It changes your perspective. Time is my priority. I try to get as much done as possible so I can get home and help my wife to have an hour or two to herself,” he shared.
