50 Cent has stood by his decision to call out Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for alleged abuse, despite facing backlash for his public criticism.
Prior to Combs being charged with serious offenses such as sex trafficking and racketeering, 50 Cent had been vocal about his concerns regarding Combs’ behavior and notorious parties.
“Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t,” 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, told People in a new interview. “It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.”
The rapper continued, “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.'”
Following Diddy’s arrest in September, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, it was reported that he could potentially face more legal troubles with additional lawsuits from dozens of individuals, including minors, accusing him of assault and sexual misconduct.
The feud between Diddy and 50 Cent seemingly began when the rapper accused Combs of being involved in the 1997 murder of the Notorious B.I.G., a claim that Combs has vehemently denied.
Despite the ongoing controversy, 50 Cent has remained firm in his stance and has even announced plans to create a documentary with Netflix that will delve into the life and actions of the embattled musician.
