“I Told God I Would Cancel My Crusade If 50 Cent Came” — David Ibiyeomie Recounts Port Harcourt Scheduling Clash

"Any Demon That Change To Rat" Is Already Afraid You, Don’t Pray, Use Trap - Pastor David Ibiyeomie

David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has shared a personal account involving American rapper 50 Cent and what he described as a surprising scheduling conflict during an event period in Port Harcourt.

According to him, both his crusade program and the rapper’s planned appearance were scheduled in the city at the same time, creating what he described as an unexpected overlap that drew attention due to the scale of both events.

He explained that the situation became a moment of reflection for him as he considered the possibility of a major entertainment event taking place alongside his crusade.

Ibiyeomie said he expressed a personal concern at the time, stating that he had told God he would step aside if 50 Cent eventually showed up in Port Harcourt as scheduled.

However, he recounted that the situation took a different turn. According to him, while the rapper was in Lagos, an issue reportedly disrupted his travel plans, preventing him from continuing his trip to Port Harcourt.

He added that the rapper eventually returned to the United States, and the planned appearance in Nigeria did not take place.

With the change in circumstances, the crusade went ahead as scheduled.

He also noted that an unexpected outcome followed, as many people who had initially planned to attend the entertainment event ended up joining the crusade instead.

The account adds to Ibiyeomie’s series of public testimonies, where he often reflects on personal experiences tied to his ministry and events surrounding his church activities.

While the rapper’s visit did not materialize, the story has resurfaced in public discussions around faith, timing, and how major events can unexpectedly intersect in the entertainment and religious space.
