“You’ll Never Be Rich” – Pastor David Ibiyeomie Warns Church Workers Who Collect Payment for Serving

What you must have before a woman can love you — Pastor Ibiyeomie reveals

Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has stirred debate after declaring that church workers who receive payment for serving in God’s house may be denying themselves the blessings that come from serving God freely.

The cleric remarked while preaching to his congregation, arguing that financial compensation should never be the motivation for serving in church.

According to him, once service to God becomes a paid job, the spiritual rewards attached to that service are replaced by the wages received from men.

Using church instrumentalists as an example, Ibiyeomie said people who are paid to play musical instruments during worship may unknowingly be limiting their spiritual and financial growth.

“In some churches, when people play the drums, they are paid for it. I say, if you’re playing the drums and getting paid, that’s why you’ll never be rich.”

He went on to make the claim that anyone receiving payment for rendering service in God’s house should not expect the kind of prosperity that comes from divine blessings.

“If you are hearing me anywhere in the world, and you are paid for rendering service to God, I can tell you that you will never come out of poverty.”

Backing his message with scripture, the pastor referenced a biblical passage which says those who serve God will receive His blessings.

According to him, the principle changes once a person begins receiving financial compensation for that same service.

“‘Thou shalt serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless your bread and water. So the moment you serve God and they pay you, the blessing stops.”

He added that while such workers may continue to earn salaries or allowances from their churches, they may miss out on what he described as God’s greater financial blessing.

“‘And the blessing of the Lord maketh rich, so you remain at the level of what they are paying you. You will never rise.”

Emphasising his point, Ibiyeomie claimed that many

John Cena Shows Off Bald Head After Second Hair Transplant, Says WWE Fans Pushed Him to Do It

WWE legend and Hollywood actor John Cena has given fans an honest update on his hair restoration journey, sharing photos of himself after undergoing a second hair transplant.

The 49-year-old shared an image from Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta, proudly showing his freshly shaved head after another round of treatment to address hair loss.

Rather than hiding the procedure, Cena has continued to speak openly about his experience, hoping to help remove the stigma surrounding men’s hair restoration.

According to the former wrestling champion, he recently underwent another Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure.

FUE is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique in which individual hair follicles are taken from areas with healthy hair growth and implanted into thinning or balding sections of the scalp.

While many patients keep some hair during recovery, Cena revealed that he chose to shave his head completely to achieve the best possible results.

Explaining the decision in a Facebook post, he said he wanted to “go all in” on the treatment.

Cena has previously admitted that constant jokes from wrestling fans about his thinning hair played a major role in convincing him to seek treatment.

Speaking to People magazine last year, the actor recalled repeatedly seeing signs from fans during WWE events mocking his bald spot.

“I saw their signs that said, ‘The bald John Cena.’ They pushed me into going to see what my options were.”

The wrestling icon said he eventually decided to undergo his first hair transplant in 2024 after years of feeling self-conscious about his hair loss.

Cena also revealed that he now follows a strict hair-care routine, including red-light therapy, minoxidil, specialized shampoos and conditioners, and vitamins to support hair growth.

Looking back, he admitted he regrets waiting so long before taking action.

“I hate the fact that if there wasn’t so much shame around it, I’d have gotten it done 10 years ago.”

The actor added that the procedure has had a significant impact on both his confidence and career.

According to Cena, the hair transplant “completely changed the course of my life” and has given him greater confidence while taking on acting roles in Hollywood.

Unlike many celebrities who choose to keep cosmetic procedures private, Cena has earned praise for openly documenting his hair restoration journey.

Many fans applauded him for helping normalize conversations about male hair loss, noting that millions of men experience similar challenges yet often avoid discussing them because of social stigma.

With his latest procedure now complete, the WWE legend appears determined to continue embracing the process publicly, encouraging others not to feel embarrassed about seeking treatments that improve their confidence.

 rarely attain significant wealth.

“As you can see, drummers who receive money never become rich.”

His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online.

While some Christians agreed that ministry should primarily be driven by a desire to serve God rather than financial gain, others argued that musicians, instrumentalists and technical crew members dedicate time, skill and resources to church activities and deserve to be compensated for their work.

The sermon has added to ongoing conversations within Christian circles about whether church workers should be treated strictly as volunteers or receive financial support for the services they render in ministry.
