FG to redesign civil service logo

The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHSCF) has extended an invitation to all federal civil servants to engage in a competition aimed at creating a new emblem for the civil service, utilizing their distinctive insights, innovative approaches, and creative aptitude.

The decision made by the Federal Government to undertake a redesign of the Federal Civil Service logo was promulgated on Monday through a circular disseminated by the Office of the HSCF, which was subsequently made accessible to members of the press in Abuja by Eno Olotu, Head of Information and Public Relations.

As stated in the circular, the initiative to redesign the logo constitutes a significant measure towards achieving alignment with the ongoing reforms delineated in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP 25).

The Office has meticulously outlined the eligibility criteria that shall govern all federal civil servants, both domestically and internationally, who aspire to partake in this initiative.

Furthermore, the circular emphasized that the newly designed logo must embody originality, creativity, and distinctiveness, thereby effectively conveying the mission of the civil service.

“Participants are to visit the official website of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (www.ohcsf.gov.ng) from Tuesday, 29th October, when the portal will be opened,” it stated.

The circular also informed that the submission date for all entries should not be later than Tuesday, 12th November 2024, as late submissions will not be entertained.
