Nigerian musician and songwriter, Fireboy DML, recently discussed the ongoing feud between Wizkid and Davido during an interview with City FM.
The rivalry between the two superstar singers has been making headlines, especially after Wizkid made derogatory remarks about Davido.
Fireboy acknowledged that disagreements are common in the music industry, as artists are not immune to conflicts. He expressed his preference for avoiding drama, similar to Ladipoe’s stance on the matter.
He said:
“Everyone should just focus on what concerns them. Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories.”
Particularly on the rivalry involving Wizkid and Davido, Fireboy said:
“Beef is just part of life. We are all human.”
During the interview, Fireboy also talked about his latest album, ‘Adedamola,’ which features collaborations with Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall. He revealed that the idea to collaborate with Lagbaja and Seun Kuti came from Olamide, his mentor and executive producer of the album.
