Reality queen and radio host Lethabo Mathatho, often known as Lejoy, is reportedly in financial problems after losing her 2012 red Land Rover Evoque to a bank. According to the Daily Sun, the Real Housewives of Johannesburg actress allegedly owes R186,687.86 for the “shortfall” on the automobile.
Lethabo bought the automobile in 2017 with an installment plan. Court documents show that she agreed to pay R7,028.77 each month for the first three months, followed by 70 payments of R6,917.05. The last balloon payment of R90,043.40 is due in July 2023.
However, the deal was canceled, and the bank repossessed and sold the car in June 2024. Despite this, the presenter is still liable for the unpaid obligation.
According to Daily Sun, inresponse, Lethabo denied owing the bank any money, stating, “I’m not sure what you are talking about because I don’t owe the bank, and my debt with the bank is 0. I will send you proof I’m not owing the bank.” However, she has yet to provide the promised proof.
