The senior officials of Manchester United are scheduled to convene an executive committee meeting today (Tuesday) to deliberate upon the future of the manager, Erik ten Hag.
The assembly is anticipated to be graced by the presence of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Sir Dave Brailsford, Chief Executive Omar Berrada, Sporting Director Dan Ashworth, and Technical Director Jason Wilcox.
All of these individuals were present at Villa Park to witness the Red Devils engage in a goalless draw against Aston Villa last Sunday.
This outcome has substantiated United’s most dismal commencement to a Premier League season, positioning the club at 14th in the league, having netted a mere five goals across seven matches.
Co-chairman Joel Glazer, who, alongside Ratcliffe and Brailsford, constitutes the pivotal decision-making triumvirate, will also be in attendance at this gathering.
As reported by Sky Sports, Chief Operating Officer Collette Roche and Chief Financial Officer Roger Bell may also be in attendance.
Ten Hag is currently experiencing considerable pressure at Old Trafford, with former Chelsea and Bayern Munich coach, Thomas Tuchel, being speculated as a potential successor to the role.
Additionally, an ex-United midfielder, Michael Carrick, who is presently overseeing Middlesbrough in the Championship, is also being considered for the position.
