Tems received attention for her innovative dress at the 2023 Oscars. While appearing on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Jennifer inquired about her bold style and whether it obscured the view for those sitting behind her.
Tems explained that she had planned to alter her attire once she entered the hall.
Tems explained, “The stage was high, so it didn’t interfere with anyone’s sight.”
However, her stylist could not join her since she was “kidnapped” outside the venue.
Tems had little choice but to wear the attire inside the hall, as her phone had died and was left on the bus.
During the show, she also performed the song ‘Love Me Jeje’, which the audience enjoyed.
