Falz revealed details of a tense phone discussion with VeryDarkMan (VDM) on the Afrobeat podcast episode. The debate focused on VDM’s online feud with Falz’s family.
The drama began when Bobrisky claimed in an audio recording that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, were bribed about the EFCC scandal.
VDM then made unpleasant remarks about Falz’s sexual orientation and family reputation.
Falz said in the interview that he reached out to VDM via phone call to address the defamatory statements.
However, the conversation quickly turned heated. VDM became defensive and dismissive, saying, “Shebi, you’re a lawyer. Go to court.”
Despite Falz’s warnings of potential legal consequences for defamation and requests to apologize and delete offending posts, VDM refused.
Falz emphasized his father’s legacy and clarified he wouldn’t tolerate disrespect, declaring, “If Verydarkman is ready for trouble, then I’m also ready.”
