Laliga: Vinicius slams Real Madrid fans, drums support for Yamal over racist remarks

Vinicius strikes as Blancos become European champions for 14th time

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. has criticized his club’s fans, labeling them as criminals after Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal faced racist attacks during their LaLiga match.

Barça thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 in the season’s first El Clasico, with goals from Lewandowski, Yamal, and Raphinha.

The reported racist incident occurred while Yamal celebrated his goal with teammates, performing Ronaldo’s ‘calma’ gesture followed by Vinicius’ dance routine, which seemed to upset some Madridistas in the stands.

“It is regrettable what happened yesterday at the Bernabéu with racist insults. There is no place for these criminals in our society,” Vinicius wrote on social media via MadridXtra.

“All my support to Lamine, Ansu and Raphinha. I know that Madrid and the police will do things to identify and punish the guilty!”
