Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama chose an unconventional method to extend Thanksgiving wishes to Americans this year: They featured their Portuguese Water dog Sunny in a festive social media post.
The couple shared a photo of Sunny wearing a black and orange checked kerchief printed with the message ‘Happy Turkey Day.’
Their accompanying caption read: “From our family (and Sunny!) to yours, wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving!”
