Barcelona cruise past Brest 3-0 for fourth straight win

Barcelona continued their impressive Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win over Ligue 1 side Brest at the Estadi Olímpic.

The game marked their fourth consecutive win, following successes against Young Boys, Bayern Munich, and Crvena Zvezda in previous matchdays.

The Catalans got off to a flying start as Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 10th minute.

The Polish striker converted a penalty after being brought down by Brest goalkeeper Marco Bizot, notching his 100th Champions League goal.

Barcelona dominated possession and controlled the tempo throughout the match, but they had to wait until the 68th minute to double their lead.

Dani Olmo showed exceptional skill, weaving past two Brest defenders before slotting home.

In stoppage time, Lewandowski capped off a stellar performance with his second goal of the evening, sealing a comprehensive victory for the hosts.

With this win, Barcelona moved to second place in the league phase standings and are well-positioned to secure automatic progression to the last 16.
