Gilmore, a content creator, believes that Nigerian content developers are more supportive of one another than musicians are. He credits this collaborative spirit with helping Nigerian content artists achieve their current success.
Furthermore, the skit creator emphasized the importance of social media in their success, noting that consumers increasingly choose to consume information on their mobile devices rather than traditional television.
During a recent interview with Hip TV, Gilmore remarked, “Content creators enjoy massive success because it [the content-creating industry] is more supportive than the music industry.
“This is 2024; everybody is on their phone. People no longer watch TV. You can make money off social media.”
He also shared that Afrobeats artist Ayra Starr represents his ideal partner, while Niniola was his childhood infatuation.
